The new kittens are called Svala and Bó, named after father-and-daughter musicians, both famous in Iceland. Svala is even competing on Iceland’s behalf in Eurovision this year (the musician, not the cat).

As these kittens are five months old, teenagers in terms of cats, and the decor of the doll house they live in was change in accordance. The view from the windows is now Grjótaþorpið, centre Reykjavik in twilight. The posters on the walls have also been changed, and are more in a teenager's style.

They still have a bathtub and designer chairs, but the bunk beds are gone, as few teenagers would be seen sleeping in such a thing, they have been changed out for bigger beds.

The two newcomers even get access to the attic, which the other inhabitants of the house did not have. That’s the place to relax, furnished with some toys and two fluffy rugs.
