Wake up, it's sunny!

Icelandic comedian Björn Bragi made this pretty accurate sketch about Icelandic weather, and how Icelanders react to it.

Björn Bragi is a successful comedian and a part of Mið Ísland stand-up comedy group. He recorded a part of the scene last summer on his phone, and the latter part in Reykjavik's record snow fall earlier this year.

“The best jokes are often simple. It doesn’t take much production if the idea behind it is good,” he says.

He once in a while posts jokes like this on Facebook, and decided to add English subtitles when he saw how often it had been shared and watched on social media (three timed the population of Iceland has watched the video).
