Halldóra Sif Guðlaugsdóttir graduated from the fashion department of the Iceland Academy of the Arts last spring and will be working as a trainee in the womenswear department of fashion house Alexander McQueen in London.
"The process was really quick. I applied and two hours later I got a positive answer," she says. "I'm starting in April and will be working as a trainee for six months after which she hopes to get a more permanent contract. "I got a position with a head designer there called Malin Troll. I'll be drawing, helping to make mood boards and will be a part of the design team."
