Perfect skiing conditions

Skiing areas in many parts of Iceland are open today, including Bláfjöll in the proximity of Reykjavik. 

The skiing area in Ísafjörður in the West Fjords is open and according to managers the conditions for skiing are perfect. The skiing areas in Siglufjörður are open between 11 and 16 and Hlíðarfjall in Akureyri is open between 10 - 16. Skiing in Dalvík, North Iceland,  is open between 10 - 16 and in Bláfjöll, a 15 minute drive from Reykjavik, is open between 10 - 17.
