Icelanders arrested in Brazil for drug smuggling

Two Icelanders, a man aged 26 and a woman aged 20 have been arrested in Fortaleza, Brazil for smuggling cocaine. The couple were, according to Brazilian police, planning to fly from an international airport. 

Four kilos of cocaine were hidden in condoms and in the people's belongings. According to the Icelandic Ministry for Foreign Affairs the families of the two people arrested are being kept informed as closely as possible.
