Skiing areas open in many parts of Iceland

Several skiing areas in Iceland are open today, including the popular Hlíðarfjall in Akureyri which will open at noon.
The skiing areas at Tindastóll, Oddskarð, Skarðsdalur and Stafdalur are open and the skiing area in Ísafjörður may also open.
The skiing areas near Reykjavik are closed today due to strong winds.
