Serious car crash on Reykjanesbraut

A serious accident occurred just over an hour ago in Reykjanesbraut, the road between Reykjavik and Keflavik. Traffic was closed for one hour due to the accident. 

According to an announcement from police the accident occurred west of the Straumsvik aluminium factory. Four ambulances and a crane were sent to the site of the accident. It is unclear how serious the injuries are.
