Krónan in Hafnarfjörður becomes an island

Due to the flooding caused by the storm yesterday, the Krónan supermarket in Hafnarfjörður has almost literally turned into an island. 

Workers have been trying to clear the area of water since this morning. "We're waiting for a truck to remove the ice and then to locate the drains," said manager Ágúst Gunnarsson. He said the water had not dissuaded customers from shopping there, "But our priority is fixing this as soon as possible."
