Threatened to cut her fingers off
The Icelandic High Court has prolonged the custody of a man suspected with attacking his girlfriend on several occasions. The man is suspected of having attacked her with clipping tongs and threatening to cut her fingers of, as well as several physical attacks which left her injured.
The man is also suspected of breaking a restraining order against him after the first attacks. He has been in custody since July 10th, custody which has been prolonged until Friday October 30th. His case goes on trial next week and he is undergoing psychiatric evaluation.
