Ása Ástardóttir is the first ever Icelandic competitor in the German version of reality TV show Big Brother.
Earlier this week, Ása moved into the famous Big Brother house with the rest of the competitors. If all goes well, this will be her new home for the next three months.
One member of the house is evicted each week and the last one standing receives a cash prize of €100,000 (approx. ISK 14.4 million).
Ása seems already to have attracted much attention for her quirky ways, such as believing in elves. It is one of Ása’s hopes in the competition to teach German viewers a bit about Icelandic culture.
She is also optimistic about defeating her fellow housemates and bagging the cash prize.
