Did Bill Gates shun Icelandic food?

American business magnate and co-founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates, is leaving Iceland today after a short visit – during which he and his family allegedly refused to touch Icelandic food.

The Gates family has spent the last few days relaxing in an Icelandic summer house and visiting many traditional tourist sites, including the Blue Lagoon.

As reported on Icelandic news website visir.is (in Icelandic), sources have reported that the Gates family brought all of their food and drink with them into Iceland and refused to drink so much as a sip of Icelandic water.
