Nelson beats Thatch in three minutes flat

Icelandic MMA champion Gunnar Nelson beat Brandon Thatch in the space of three minutes at the UFC 189 championships in Las Vegas on Saturday night. 

Nelson quickly grappled his opponent to the ground and finished the fight with a rear naked choke hold. "His biggest victory of his career so far, it's as simple as that said Pétur Marinó Jónsson in a report on MMA Fréttir last night. Millions watched Nelson's victory. 

Nelson celebrated his victory at a party following the fight and among attendees was Arnold Schwarzenegger as piblished on the Instagram page of Nelson's friend Jón Viðar Arnþórsson, founder of the MMA club Mjölnir in Reykjavik.
