Solar eclipse glasses sold out

The certified solar eclipse glasses sold by the Seltjarnarnes astronomy society in the past few weeks are sold out both in Iceland and the rest of Europe.
The society has tried to obtain a few thousand more to no avail.The society's Facebook page states that demand has exceeded supply. "72 thousand glasses have not been enough, incredible but true." They add that people can use welding visors for the same purpose.
People are again, reminded that sunglasses are a no-no and looking at the eclipse through sunglasses can cause irreparable damage.
