The celebrity chef and TV personality Gordon Ramsay has visited the highway restaurant Þrastarlundur twice recently, both to enjoy a meal and to get coffee, says Dagný Sif Jónsdóttir, the owner of Þrastarlundur. Jónsdóttir says that Ramsay was very appreciative of the service he got in Þrastarlundur. “It was such an honor to get to meet him and serve him food.”

She hopes to see him again before he returns home from his fishing trip, if only to say goodbye.
