Storm and sleet expected in South Iceland

An easterly storm is expected in South Iceland accompanied by sleet or snow. Travellerts are urged to be careful as roads oould become difficult to pass. 

Tonight and tomorrow morning winds will pick up again with the weather being worst around the Mýrdalsjökull area. Sleet and snow are expected in some parts of South Iceland. 

Travellers crossing Múlakvísl from the east are urged to take care as threre could be flooding due to snowmelt.
