Sharp changes in weather for next few days

The Iceland Met Office warns that the next few days will bring sharp changes in weather so anyone intending to travel in Iceland should follow weather forecasts closely.

An area of low pressure is now South West of the country and this morning it's bringing wind and rain to those parts of the country. The wind will die down towards the afternoon but the met office warns of large waves in the ocean today up to 13 metres high.

Tomorrow there's another low accompanied by a storm with rain and the next few days look like the same type of weather could be expected.

Temperatures have gone up to around 2-8 above zero on Celsius.
