Two coaches skidded off the road in Kjalarnes last night in the snowstorm. Nobody was seriously injured but many were shocked and received minor injuries. Four were transported to Landspítalinn national hospital with minor injuries.
Two young children were also passengers.
An emergency centre was set up in Varmárskóli in Mosfellsbær. The heavy snowfall has caused traffic problems in many parts of Iceland.
