Streets are icy in Reykjavik this morning warns the Reykjavik Metropolitan Police. Several accidents have occurred already including a bus veering of the road in Norðlingaholt. 

Another accident occurred at the Grensásvegur and Miklabraut junction at around eight pm involving a motorcycle. 

The weather is cooling down somewhat after a relatively warm Christmas and snow or sleet is expected on the weekend.
