Reykjavík is Europe's second most expensive city
According to travel website Wanderu, Reykjavik is Europe's second most expensive city. Monaco is the most expensive. Admission to museums in Reykjavik is 28 times more expensive than in Chisinau in Moldavia, where it was cheapest. The least expensive city in Europe is Skopje in Macedonia.
The results are calculated using average prices for hotels, taxis, public transport, food, beer, coffee and museum entries.
An average price for a night at a Reykjavik hotel is around 317 euros compared to 54 in Skopje.
Beer in Reykjavik is also expensive, for one beer in Reykjavik you can buy 12 beers in Kiev in the Ukraine.
