Some hope yet for Iceland's summer weather
Despite a storm today in parts of Iceland and more rainy weather, a meteologist at the Iceland Met Office says that after next weekend the weather may change for the better.
"It's possible that warm easterly winds will blow across the country which means that the western part of Iceland will become warmer and drier."
Today's storm is particularly bad for North West Iceland and the central highlands, from Snæfellsnes reaching north to Eyjafjörður. The storm will continue into the night.
