Summer has arrived - in North East Iceland!
Despite wind and rain in the capital area, summer has arrived in some parts of the country, especially the North and the East.
According to the Iceland Met Office there are signs that the weather systems across the country are changing. The cold air west of Greenland is still keeping a hold of Iceland for a while but better weather is to be expected soon.
Temperatures went up to 19 degrees in North Iceland the day before yesterday and will go past 20 degrees C tomorrow.
