Crazy weather hits Reykjavik - all internal flights down and international flights delayed

All domestic flights are down in Iceland with a storm raging on the South West peninsula. There has been disruption to school in some areas of the city and international flights arriving this morning have been delayed. 

Bus services have also been disrupted. 

Wind speed is between 20 - 25 metres per second and there's heavy rainfall. 

Windspeeds along Reykjanesbraut, the road between Reykjavik and Keflavik International Airport have been reaching 40 metres per second. 

Search and rescue teams have been called out to be on standby. Numerous incidents of flying roof tiles, displaced containers and even a flying lamp post have been reported.
