Flight delays expected today due to yesterday’s storm

Flight delays can be expected today, but all flights to and from Iceland were disrupted late Sunday when a deep low passed over South-West Iceland. All domestic flights were cancelled as well.

Icelandair delayed or cancelled 55 flights yestarday due to the weather that impacted about 8,000 passengers. “On average we can expect 2-3 hours delay on flights, but in some cases less, so we ask people to check the schedules,” a spokesman for Icelandair said.
