Video: Swan attacks sheep in Iceland

A video captured in Bolungarvík in the West Fjords shows the unusual event of a swan attacking a ewe and her lamb in Álftafjörður, the fjord of swans. 

In the accompanying video you can see a swan, a ewe and her sheep. Suddenly the swan attacks the ewe which runs away, and then you can observe the swan and the ewe battling it out. Speaking to mbl.is, Sigríður Línberg Runólfsdóttir, whose husband captured the footage with a drone,  says that the swan was defending its young. "It's very dangerous to go near a swan when they are nesting."
