Warning due to flooding in East Iceland

The Iceland Road Administration has issued a warning due to flooding in East Iceland. Naustá river in Fáskrúðsfjörður has flooded across the road and travellers are urged to keep utmost safety in mind.
Water is also flowing across the road in Breiðdalur, Berufjörður and Skriðdalur.
The recent storm and heavy rainfall has caused a lot of flooding in the area and there is also danger of mudslides in the mountainous areas.
