Julian Motions is a 16-year-old photographer and filmmaker from Germany. Along with his brother Leon he travelled to Iceland to make a stunning film using drones.

"In spring we travelled to Iceland to discover the great island," says Motions. "While we were there we took a lot of  great footage and some extra aerial-footage while rounding Iceland. Now we are back and we finally edited and graded the video."

Motions says that the film was made to  capture the beauty of Iceland in spring.

The film was made using a quadcopter.

"Flying the quadcopter was very tough. We had extreme weather conditions with strong winds up to 33 MPH and very low temperatures ( -7 °F / - 22 °C), but the beautiful scenery made up for everything. Personally I think flying at crater in Mývatn was really nice and also at the sulphuric geyser-field because the aerial perspective differs very much from what you can see with your own eyes. "
