Bus fares to rise from 1 March

A single ticket for travel on Iceland’s Strætó bus lines will cost ISK 420 (approx. €3) from 1 March, a 5% increase on the current price.

The equivalent ticket for passengers under eighteen, disabled passengers and OAPs will be half price (ISK 210).

Prices for season tickets and ticket packs are also set to rise by 2.9%-4.2%. The price hike is intended to cover rises in Strætó’s general operating costs.

The full new price list, coming into effect on 1 March, is as follows:
