Earthquake felt in vicinity of Reykjavik
An earthquake of the magnitude 3,9 was felt south of Kleifarvatn lake last night at 8.30 pm. The quake was felt considerably both in Hafnarfjörður and in the greater Reykjavik area.
"A few afterquakes have been measured following the bigger one. Earthquakes are a regular occurrence in this area," says a statement from the Iceland Met Office.
