New Air Iceland livery for 2016
Icelandic domestic airline Air Iceland is marking the occasion of its complete fleet renewal by introducing a fresh new livery for its aircraft.
The airline takes delivery this year of three new Bombardier Q400 aircraft to replace its current Fokker 50 aircraft. A ballot was held to choose a new external design and the livery pictured above and below was selected, beating contenders by a comfortable margin.
The first aircraft will travel to the United Kingdom later this morning for painting and is due to arrive in Iceland in February.
