Roads still closed and flights cancelled

Domestic flights in Iceland are still grounded by the severe weather. Both Air Iceland and Eagle Air will be conducting a further assessment after 11 am to decide whether or not services can be resumed.
While some major roads are returning to normality, many roads across the country are still closed to traffic. Weather conditions are currently being monitoring and roads will be reopened as soon as possible (see here for the Icelandic Road and Coastal Administration’s live map).
Most buses in Greater Reykjavik are now running normally, having been offline from 5 pm yesterday to 8 pm this morning. There are no services to the rest of the country at present due to the abovementioned road closures.
