WOW air to fly to Gran Canaria

Icelandic low-cost airline WOW air began ticket sales today for a new service to Gran Canaria in Spain’s Canary Islands.

A weekly Saturday direct flight from Iceland to Gran Canaria will begin on 20 February 2016, using a 200-seat Airbus A321 aircraft.

WOW air already flies all year round to the neighbouring island on Tenerife, having opened the route in March of this year.
