PHOTOS: A Portrait of Iceland
A Portrait of Iceland is the name of a new photography book by Icelandic photographer Páll Jökull Pétursson.
The magnificent colour contrasts in Pétursson’s work have led some to ask him whether his work is photoshopped.
“I do very little of that,” he replies. “The weather and light conditions create the mood – the main thing is being at the right place at the right time. And, of course, you need good equipment and a good eye for details large and small.”
Above is a small sample of Pétursson stunning views of Iceland. Enjoy!
