Icelandair-Alaska Airlines codeshare
Icelandair has entered into a codeshare and frequent flier agreement with Alaska Airlines, opening up travel for passengers from Iceland to over 100 destinations via Seattle, USA.
Members of Icelandair’s Saga Club frequent flier scheme will now be able to spend their points on Alaska Airlines flights, and members of Alaska Airlines’ Mileage Plan will be able to do the same on Icelandair flights.
Under the new codeshare arrangements, some scheduled Alaska Airlines services with be flown with both an Alaska Airlines and Icelandair flight number.
Icelandair operates a scheduled service to Seattle, USA – Alaska Airlines’ base and major hub. Alaska Airlines flies from Seattle to over 100 destinations, mainly in the western USA, Canada and Mexico.
