Fancy doing yoga in the middle of Icelandic nature, inhaling the crispy sea air and looking at Reykjavik from afar whilst listening to the magical sounds of a gong? You can do all that next Tuesday night on Viðey, the island just off the coast of Reykjavik.

On July 21st a walk will take place on Viðey island with yoga teacher Arnbjörg Kristín Konráðsdóttir yoga teacher followed by yoga on the fields of grass. The session ends at Yoko Ono'sImagine Peace Tower with deep relaxation accompanied by the sounds of a gong.

The ferry sails from Skarfabakka at 18.15 and 19.15 but the walk starts at 19.30 and takes about one and a half hour. For those who want to enjoy dinner at Viðeyjarstofa restaurant it's a good idea to take the 18:15 ferry.

Yoga mattresses are not necessary and guests are advised to dress according to weather. Everyone is welcome.

Owners of Reykjavik Guest Card get a free boat ride with the Viðey ferry.
