Severe weather warning for NW Iceland
The Icelandic Met Office has issued a heavy-rain warning for the West Fjords and coastal areas of North-West Iceland.
Those in the area can expect melting snow to cause localised flooding, while there is also a risk of landslides.
Strong winds are also affecting North and East Iceland, where unsecured objects may blow away and drivers are advised to avoid driving with trailers.
