WOW air begins Dublin service

The first WOW air scheduled service to Dublin took off from Keflavík International Airport early this morning. The Icelandic low-cost airline will be flying to the Irish capital three times a week all year round.

WOW air is the first Icelandic airline to open a scheduled route to Dublin. Sales has been brisk, according to the airline, both for travel to Iceland and for travel to the United States via Iceland.

The addition of Dublin takes WOW air’s total number of destinations in Europe and North America to twenty. Other recent new routes are: Bil­l­und, Bost­on, Rome, Teneri­fe and Washingt­on DC.
