Fancy a walk through the lush Laugardalur botanical park on Sunday in, what is to be expected as pretty decent weather? Join the bird walk at eleven a.m which is free of charge accompanied by botanist and bird enthusiast Hannes Þór Hafsteinsson.
Hafsteinsson will be talking about all the bird species living in the gardens and which plants attract which kind of bird. Guests are urged to bring binoculars if they have them at home.
The picturesque Café Flora, situated in the gardens opens tomorrow, May 1st and is open daily this summer from 10-22 offering a sumptious menu of Icelandic fare and a mouthwatering array of cakes.
