Ísland - New Breath of Life

Ísland - New Breath of Life is the title of an exciting new audiovisual project focusing on Iceland’s changing nature currently being prepared by French creative studio trente8 ( www.trente8.com ), based in Paris.

trente8 is a group of five young French filmmakers and photographers who have embarked upon an innovative project to “render the most beautiful creations of Icelandic nature” using the combined talents and strengths of the various members of the group.

The group intend to undertake a twenty-day journey around Iceland, “adapting to conditions” and striving to “capture the immensely big and the infinitely small”, and have set up a crowd-funding page to finance their ambitious and exciting artistic project.

The fruits of the group’s labour will be a documentary film celebrating the “moments of life and discovery” they will be capturing on their Icelandic adventure and an audiovisual exhibition back in France.

Visitors will be able to enjoy breathtaking photography of Iceland’s magnificent scenery as well as film and sound recordings documenting Icelandic flora and fauna and the sounds and atmospheres of the country.
