International departures resume
International flights from Iceland are returning to normality after stormy conditions earlier this morning caused severe disruption. Passengers arriving from North America this morning were not able to disembark for up to two hours after landing.
This resulted in delays for flights to Europe, most of which will not be able to depart until around 9:45am.
No domestic flights have departed so far today. Domestic airlines Eagle Air and Air Iceland will be reassessing the situation at 10:15am.
