Weather flight chaos

All domestic flights and many international flights have been cancelled for the rest of the day.

According to information provided by Icelandair, this afternoon’s flight from KEF to Copenhagen (FI212) has been brought forward by 45 minutes to miss the approaching bad weather. Flights FI454/455 to and from London have also been cancelled. All Icelandair US flights have been cancelled and all flights from Europe have been delayed.

Air Iceland has cancelled all domestic flights, although this afternoon’s flight from Ilulissat in Greenland is scheduled to land at Reykjavik Airport at 18:56. Eagle Air has also cancelled all it domestic flights for the rest of the day.
