The new ice cave in pictures
British newspaper The Guardian has published a series of pictures from the new ice cave in Langjökull glacier. Drilling through the ice to create the cave will be finished at the end of January and then work on lighting and other details will commence. The ice tunnel will span 450 metres and it wil take 40- 60 minutes to walk through it.
To get to the ice cave, IceCave will bring people in a specially equipped arctic truck and the whole journey including the ice cave will cost 17,900 ISK.
