Watch a geysir spouting
A video of the geysir Strokkur in south Iceland is featured on The Weather Channel. The geyser, one of Iceland's most popular tourist attractions, erupts every 4-8 minutes. The area became active more than 1000 years ago and comprises over a dozen blowholes.
The most famous one is the great Geysir, so famous that all spouting hot springs have been named after it.
