Grandi Mathöll: Fjárhúsið
The new food halls at Grandi Mathöll offers one very Icelandic food stall: Fjárhúsið, which means the sheep barn and specialises in Icelandic lamb.
Among the specialities on offer is a dish named Hrúsi. It's basically meat from a bellwether hailing from remote Þistilfjörður, meat that has been smoked twice and is low in fat served accompanied by a modern version of flatkaka, flat rye bread.
