Secret Solstice kicks off tonight at Laugardalur park in Reykjavik and continues until Sunday night. Here's a look at some of the mouth-watering food stands at the festival, so good that you'll never have to leave the premises!
Over 20 food stands are at the festival, now held for the fourth time running. Among the novelties this year are a new chicken wing stand, a taco stand and Munchies, offering cold cuts in picnic baskets. Kaffitár are also offering a backpack service, with staff running around with backpacks of coffee so you can hail them whenever in need of a caffeine kick.
The Wingman is a brand new street food stand offering Hot Wings and BBQ wings, french fries and candy floss.
Takk Taco is a new taco stand offering wither meat or vegetable/vegan tacos.

Lobster Hut takes part in the festival for the third year running and they offer their famously delicious lobster sandwiches with garlic sauce and chilli mayo. Also available: lobster salad and lobster chowder (it's probably going to rain you know).

Reykjavík Chips offer, well, chips obviously, or french fries if you're Americen, served in the Belgian manner with over twelve sauces to choose from.

Joe and the Juice have a stand with their most popular juices on offer as well as grilled paninis. Their avocado sandwich is a great vegan option.

Vöffluvagninn , the waffle wagon offers belgian waffles with cream, chocolate, caramel, cinnamon, jam, nutella, syrop and.. wait for it.. .that Icelandic favourite - hockey pulver, a strong peppery licorice powder.
Krúska is a health food restaurant and their stand offers BBQ chicken wraps, chicken salad, or vegan soup and dish of the day.

Kaffitár is a popular coffee shop chain and at Secret Solstice they offer a coffee vehicle offering all kinds of coffees and hot chocolate. Their staff will also be all around the festival with a backpack containing coffee and coffee cups. Just look for their logo when you need a pick-me-up.

Tuddinn means bull in Icelandic and they offer 100 % grass fed Galloway beef burgers straight from the farm. Served with their special smokey mustard mayonnaise.

Hamborgarafabrikkan offers fantastic burgers - either a classic burger in their famous square bun or a vegan burger which is a grilled portobello mushroom with violife vegan cheese and barbecue sauce.

Salmon Wagon offers fresh salmon burgers and salmon salade with their unique home-made sauce and fries. A healthy-ish protein-rich fast food option.
Munchies food truck is a new food truck offering baskets with meat cuts- thinly sliced beef or pork with french fries, saurkraut and bernaise sauce. Two vegan options are on offer, a babaghanoush roll with grilled vegetables and a carrot and coconut soup.
Other options include Domino's Pizza, Tommi's Burger Joint, Súpuvagninn soup wagon, Prikið, Johansen's Deli, Íshjólið ice cream cart, Sushi-barinn and the Laundromat café.
