The President of Iceland, Guðni Th. Jóhannesson, lost to eight-year-old boy Haukur Haukur in a chess match at the Fisher Random chess tournament, currently in Reykjavík.

Guðni himself posted a hilarious video of the chess match on Twitter, in which he claims that, despite the loss, he enjoyed the tournament – as the most important thing would be to enjoy the game.

"Watch out for this one in the future"

Jóhannesson tweeted this video with the following caption:

"Played, and lost, to 8 year old Haukur! Still, I had a wonderful time at @fischer_random World Championship Finals in Reykjavík. Most important is to enjoy the game, right? Watch out for this one in the future."
