Actor deported and the show postponed

The performances of the theatrical show The Snake has been postponed at Borgarleikhúsið, because an actor from the play was deported. This is confirmed by Hlynur Páll Páll Pálsson, communications director of Borgarleikhúsið, in a conversation with mbl.is.
Help people to settle in and feel welcome
The Snake is a collaboration between the Red Cross and Borgarleikhúsið, where refugees and applicants for international protection participate and tell their stories.
When asked about how the participation was, Pálsson says that the participation was very good and that the performances were well attended.
“The show has been very well received and when we showed this last year, it went really well. The main goal of the show, however, is to help the people settle in the country and feel welcome,” says Hlynur.
