The Iceland Airwaves music festival began last night and the amount of concerts at the festival has never been greater. Around 240 bands and solo artists are appearing at the festival which is takes place for the twentieth time this year with artists from 25 countries.
Among last night's highlights were Kælan mikla, Teitur Magnússon, GlerAkur, GDNR and Sólveig Matthildur.
