Children’s Festival in Reykjavík Sunday
A large children’s festival will be held at Klambratún field, by Kjarvalsstaðir museum, Reykjavík tomorrow, Sunday, from 11 am to 5 pm. This is the third time the festival, Kátt á Klambra, is held. It was attended by 3,000 people last year, and many more are expected this year.
In a press release, the organizers promise music, dance, acting, beatboxing instruction, circus tricks instruction, yoga, crafts, a magician, massage, creative writing, chess lessons, face painting, poetry reading and more.
A special area will be provided for infants, including a changing area and a nursing area.
The goal is to provide families with entertainment and education in a green area through a variety of cultural and artistic acts.
Admission is ISK 1,500 (USD 14, EUR 12), or four tickets for ISK 5,000 (USD 47, EUR 40), but free for children under the age of four. The festival is organized in cooperation with Arion Bank. Tickets are available at tix.is.
