Pets allowed on Reykjavik buses from now on
From today, March 1st, pets are allowed on Reykjavik buses. This is an experimental project for one year.
Icelanders have been very divided as to whether to allow pets, and especially dogs, on buses, citing allergies and uncleanliness as a big problem.
Stræto, the city buses, will not be charging an extra fee for pets.
