Iranian artist Sevadaliza joins cream of Iceland's crop for a new rap festival
Sevdaliza is an Iranian born artist performing at Kex Hostel on Saturday night.
This Saturday, an exciting new event takes place at the former Living Art Museum on the ground floor next to Kex Hostel. The event, hosted by Kex Hostel and the Red Bull Academy is called RAPPORT and is a one-night only event featuring some of Iceland's most prominent rap artists.
Iranian-born SEVDALIZA, who recently self-released her highly acclaimed debut album ISON, will be coming back to Reykjavik after performing Harpa last year. Accompanying Sevdaliza and her band on stage, will be Iceland’s GKR, Alvia Islandia, Forgotten Lores, Cyber and Sturla Atlas.
RAPPPORT is a free event served upon first come first serve basis so those interested are advised to arrive early. The event is from 5 pm until 11 pm.
Alvia Islandia has had a fast rise to rap fame in Iceland.
